Syngenta Flowers prepares a global launch of the first Virtual Tour

A unique digital trials exhibition

Enkhuizen / Netherlands, May 27, 2020 – In week 25 Syngenta Flowers will launch the Virtual Tour, a unique digital trials exhibition. This online venue showcases the newest introductions, core product, brands and best sellers. Access to the Syngenta Flowers Virtual Tour is free and open 24/7 and registration can be done easily through www.syngentaflowers.eu/virtualtour.

The virtual tour not only offers a 360° experience; it also links to additional information and videos about the genetics, brands and technical advice. Visitors can choose between strolling along the new assortment or a guided visit with Syngenta’s technical experts. The Virtual Tour will be available in multiple languages. The preparation for the next annuals and perennials season has never been so easy.

Sandra Verlaat, Head of Marketing Europe, is very enthusiastic about the Virtual Tour: “Due to the measurements taken against the corona virus, we had to cancel quite a few crucial flower events. In order to come up with a convenient alternative, we decided to explore digital solutions. The first event we transformed into an online experience was webCAST end of March hosted by our colleagues in the US. Two days filled with interesting webinars hosted by our own technical specialists have proven to be very successful. We now take the next step by showcasing our product offer in Europe in this online venue”.

The 360° virtual tour enables the viewer to experience the latest additions and highlights of the assortment as if they were presented to them in a real greenhouse. The technology is similar to famous Google Street View where you can look around at many viewing points down the road.
