Sunflower Field Weed Management Solution – Weed-Free Guarantee

Sunflowers are annual herbaceous flowers of the Asteraceae family. Their flowers are large and colorful, and they give people a strong impression when planted in large areas. In addition, sunflowers are phototropic, which means pursuing sunlight.
Sunflower has a strong inhibitory effect on weeds in the middle and later stages of growth. However, compared with other crops, sunflower seedlings grow slowly and are more threatened by weeds. If weeds are not removed promptly, sunflower seedlings often suffer. Therefore, cultivating and weeding sunflowers should emphasize early weeding.
Shenzhen Greenfield , a leading research organization in weed control technologies, has recently developed a comprehensive weed management solution for sunflower fields. This solution aims to eliminate existing weeds and prevent new ones from emerging, ultimately reducing costs and labor while enhancing the overall health of the sunflower crop.
Examples of experiment of sunflower field sealing combined with weeding:
Purpose of weeding: For sunflower fields with existing weeds, use a combination of blocking and blocking to control existing weeds + soil sealing. Use pesticides once during the entire growth period to reduce costs and save labor.
Herbicide: Pendimethalin + Haloxyfop-p-methyl+ Oxyfluorfen
Period of use: sunflower vegetative growth period, use when the seedling height is about 30cm
Time of use: 2022.7.19
Herbicides details: Use Pendimethalin 100ML +Haloxyfop-p-methyl 22ml + Oxyfluorfen 22ml mixed with 15L water and spray 220 square meters. When applying, be careful to lower the nozzle and try to avoid sunflower leaves getting wet with the solution.
Observation time: July 26, 2022, August 2, 2022
Observation conclusion: Observation after 7 and 14 days of application showed that this program has good effects on controlling established weeds and sealing the soil. The sunflower has entered the full flowering stage 14 days after application, and has no effect on the growth and flowering of the sunflower.
Observations made seven and fourteen days after the experiment indicate excellent weed control and soil sealing effects. Importantly, there were no adverse effects on sunflower growth or flowering. This is significant, as it ensures that the crop reaches its full potential.
Herbicides was applied when the sunflower plant was 30cm tall. This picture shows the day of application (the black water pipe is the boundary, the left is the control, and the right is the treatment area)
After 7 days (the left is the control, and the right is the treatment area)
After 14 days (the left is the control, and the right is the treatment area)
After 14 days of experiment, the growth and flowering of sunflowers were not affected.
