The 17th International Agriculture Exhibition in Morocco (SIAM) is currently underway in Meknes, bringing together 70 countries and over 1,500 exhibitors. The event, inaugurated by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, highlights agriculture and water as central themes for sustainable rural development.
This year, France has been named the guest of honor, showcasing its agricultural expertise through a dedicated pavilion featuring nearly 50 exhibitors. The exhibition includes scientific discussions and expert panels addressing climate challenges, food security, and innovative farming techniques.
SIAM spans 12.4 hectares and serves as a platform for advanced machinery, irrigation technologies, and agricultural innovations. It also fosters international collaboration, with delegations from Africa and the Middle East, including representatives from Angola, Côte d’Ivoire, Uganda, and Palestine.
Over the years, SIAM has grown into one of Africa’s most significant agricultural fairs, shaping rural development strategies, policy direction, and industry partnerships
