ITA’s Trade Commissioner, Giovanni Luca Atena, emphasizes the importance of connecting Italian businesses with African markets, particularly Zambia’s growing agricultural sector. By introducing high-quality equipment and technology, these companies aim to enhance productivity, support food security, and create mutual economic benefits.
FedderUnacoma, which represents 370 manufacturers, highlights Italy’s leadership in agricultural machinery. The four featured companies specialize in irrigation systems, hay and seeding equipment, high-performance pumps, and durable piping solutions—each designed for efficiency and longevity.
Fabio Ricci, Director General of FedderUnacoma, underscores Africa’s vast untapped farming potential, noting that Italian innovations can support the continent’s increasing demand for agricultural production. By bridging technology gaps, Italian firms hope to strengthen partnerships and contribute to Africa’s agricultural growth.
