Sunbeth Global Concepts co-convened the Agriculture Summit Africa (ASA) 2025 with Sterling Bank, bringing together policymakers, agribusiness leaders, financiers, innovators and Origin Producers for a two-day meeting on November 6–7 at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja under the theme “Survival of the Greenest.”
Advocacy for funding, resilience and inclusive growth
As co-convener, Sunbeth used the platform to call for increased agricultural investment, stronger support for Origin Producers, and faster adoption of climate-smart practices. The company framed these priorities as essential to building a self-sustaining African food system that boosts local production, creates jobs and expands intra‑African trade.
Focus areas and summit outcomes
Panel sessions tackled Africa’s pressing agricultural challenges — climate resilience, access to finance, agro-processing and regional trade integration — and produced practical proposals to empower youth, raise productivity and scale innovation across value chains.
Leadership message
Ibukun Opeke, Deputy COO of Sunbeth Global Concepts, stressed collaboration and long-term investment as the route to transformation: “Africa has abundant land, favourable climates and a young population — the basis for continental transformation. This summit should catalyse partnerships and funding models that let Origin Producers thrive and make African commodities globally competitive through traceable, sustainable supply chains and innovation.”
Commitment to responsible sourcing and scale
Sunbeth reiterated its ongoing investments in responsible sourcing, traceability, capacity building and export-market development. The company said it is scaling impact beyond its existing network of over 3,000 Origin Producers, advancing partnerships and policies that strengthen resilience, transparency and food independence across the continent.
Next steps
Sunbeth left ASA 2025 with a reinforced mandate to push for financing mechanisms, policy alignment and private‑sector collaborations that convert summit recommendations into measurable improvements for Origin Producers and African food systems.
