Automatic garlic – onion planters
Automatic garlic-onion planters are agricultural equipment that is attached to the tractor through 3 point hitch. The working principle of plantation is based on a chain that has cups welded on it which pick up the planting material. The planter has 1 chain per row. The chains are driven by sprockets therefore planting material is transported from the hopper to the tube and falls down through it to the soil. There are a few different diameters of cups that can be supplied with a chain. Each diameter of the cup is dedicated to certain planting materials.
For hard-neck garlic, we suggest cups of a diameter of 30 mm or 36 mm,
For soft-neck garlic and spring onion sets we suggest cups of a diameter of 25 mm,
For very small spring onion sets we suggest cups of a diameter of 15 mm,
For tulips, saffron we suggest cups of a diameter of 50 mm,
For potatoes, we suggest cups of a diameter of 60 mm.
