SUMMARY:Agrofood Nigeria 2025
DESCRIPTION:Put the Nigerian agricultural sector\non a growth path\n\n\n\n\n\nNigeria today faces two major challenges in agriculture: an inability to meet domestic food needs and an inability to export at the quality level necessary for market success. The first problem is a productivity challenge caused by a largely inefficient input system and agricultural model. As a result\, an ageing population of farmers does not have enough seeds\, fertilisers\, irrigation\, crop protection and related support to be successful. The latter challenge is driven by an equally inefficient system for setting and enforcing food quality standards and a lack of knowledge of the target markets. Insufficient food testing facilities\, a weak inspection system and poor coordination between the competent federal authorities lead to problems at an early stage\, such as a lack of knowledge of the permissible pollutant contents. \n\n\nTo put the Nigerian agricultural sector on a growth path\, measures are needed to fill these two gaps: to produce enough fresh\, high quality food for the Nigerian market and to successfully serve the export market and earn foreign exchange. DESCRIPTION:2024 SIEMA EXPO is one of the special food products\, food processing\, packaging\, and food machinery exhibitions in the international market organized by Elan Expo. This year’s event will hold from October 1st -3rd\, 2024 at Casablanca\, Morocco. \nWe are growing annually in the Moroccan market; we are enlarging our international exhibitor scope according to our previous years in Morocco. \nThe 6th edition of Morocco Siema Expo is preferred to visit and participate with a wide-ranging product line such as food processing machines\, food packaging machines\, refrigeration technology products\, food industries equipment\, milling machinery\, and more. \nWe collected good feedback from our exhibitors. In our successful editions\, over 200 companies have participated from 16 countries; Germany\, Austria\, China\, Morocco\, India\, Italy\, Egypt\, Lebanon\, Netherlands\, Pakistan\, Saudi Arabia\, Sri Lanka\, Switzerland\, U.A.E.\, USA\, and Turkey with 6400 professional visitors\, 460 B2B meetings \nDuring the marketing campaign\, we sent 112 thousand invitations\, 180 thousand e-mails\, and 120 thousand SMSs\, and published 55 outdoor advertisements\, 72 website advertisements\, and 18 newspaper advertisements.
