Africa Pavilion – From Seeds to Foods Exhibition

The From Seeds to Foods exhibition is a global event organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). In part, it brings together six regional pavilions to showcase the diversity, innovation, and transformation of agrifood systems around the world.
The Africa pavilion, organized by the FAO Regional Office for Africa, will be a vibrant and engaging space dedicated to celebrating Africa’s rich agricultural diversity and its solutions, resilience, and creativity.
Visitors will be able to:
- Explore a market area featuring over 100 agricultural products from across Africa, including those highlighted under FAO’s One Country One Priority Product (OCOP) initiative.
- Take part in an interactive quiz about African foods and learn about fonio, prekese, teff, baobab and more;
- Discover innovative work being carried out by partners in Africa related to seeds and crops;
- See FAO in action across African countries working with partners to transform agrifood systems;
- Engage with experts and innovators including a seed company leader from Somalia and Agri-Processors and entrepreneurs from Burkina Faso and Mali;
- Capture the moment at our selfie corner, a colorful backdrop celebrating Africa’s crop diversity.
The pavilion is open daily from 10:00–18:00.
