East Africa’s agricultural sector is set to take centre stage this September as the 10th Africa Agri Expo (AAE 2026) returns to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, bringing together leading players from agriculture, livestock, food processing and agribusiness across the continent.

Taking place from 2–3 September 2026 at the Mwalimu J.K. Nyerere Trade Fair Grounds, the exhibition will once again run alongside the Future Food, Livestock & Poultry Expo (FLIP 2026), creating one of Africa’s largest platforms for agricultural innovation, investment and business networking.

With governments across Africa prioritising food security, agricultural productivity and regional trade, the event is expected to provide valuable opportunities for technology providers, manufacturers, investors, policymakers, distributors and commercial producers seeking to expand their footprint within East Africa’s rapidly evolving agricultural market.

Organisers anticipate the combined exhibition and conference will attract more than 10,000 trade visitors, alongside over 1,000 companies from the food, livestock and poultry sectors. The event is also expected to feature approximately 125 exhibitors and sponsors, 75 industry speakers, 750 conference delegates, and participants representing 35 countries, reinforcing its status as a leading agribusiness gathering on the continent.

The exhibition will showcase a wide range of technologies and solutions designed to improve efficiency and sustainability throughout the agricultural value chain. Visitors can expect displays covering agricultural machinery, irrigation systems, precision farming technologies, improved seed varieties, livestock and poultry equipment, animal nutrition products, food processing technologies and post-harvest management solutions.
